All releases of Microsoft Windows since Windows 95 OSR1 has included an Internet Setup Wizard application. The following are instructions for use of the Internet Setup Wizard in a Windows XP Home environment.

Open your Start menu and click on Run.

Enter "inetwiz" and click "OK." to continue.

This will start the Internet Connection Wizard. You will be asked a series of questions, which your computer will use to configure itself to dial PCDialup.com. Select "Connect using my phone line" and click "Next."

If you have not previously configured your Windows system to recognize your modem, you may be prompted run the Add Hardware Wizard (screenshot). If this is the case, please follow the steps detailed in the Add Hardware Wizard interface, then proceed.
Windows will need some information about your location. Select the country you are in, and enter your area code. If you have to dial a number to access an outside line (typical for a hotel or some office phone systems), enter this information as well. Click "OK" to continue.

Windows will display the locations it is aware of. Make sure that "My Location" is selected, then click "OK" to continue.

Enter your local access number in the field labeled "Telephone Number." You can find your local access number using our tool online. Uncheck "Use area code and dialing rules" unless you have to dial a number to reach an outside line. Click "Next" to continue.

For your "User name" enter your PCDialup.com account name in lowercase with no spaces, followed by "@pcdialup.com". Enter your password as well. PCDialup.com passwords are case-sensitive. Click "Next" to continues.

Name your connection "PCDialup.com" Click "Next" to continue.
You will be prompted to start configuring an email account. Select "No" and click "Next" to continue.

Click "Finish" on this last screen and now your computer should be setup to use PCDIalup.com as your internet connection.
